Clinical Field Specialist (RN / Nurse Educator)

We are seeking a Clinical Field Specialist to support education and training on advanced patient monitoring products within the ICU, OR, and other acute care settings in the Cleveland area. This individual will work closely with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff to provide intra-operative case coverage, in-service education, and one-on-one training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide product education and clinical support during intra-operative cases.
• Coordinate and deliver one-on-one training and in-service programs in acute care environments.
• Educate clinical staff on topics such as blood pressure, cardiac output, and advanced patient monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with sales reps and managers to implement strategic plans in assigned territory.
• Advocate with clinicians to expand product adoption and utilization.
• Identify and train designated hospital staff members to act as product guides.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing or a related clinical field.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care environment.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU, OR, or cardiac specialty experience (CVICU, CVOR, TVC).
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring.
• Prior experience in a medical device clinical or sales support role.
• Confidence presenting to groups and leading training sessions.
• Demonstrated leadership in advancing within the nursing field.
• Ability to travel within the Cleveland area as required.

Work Environment

• Based in the Cleveland area; travel required within Ohio territory.
• Paid travel time (door-to-door) included
• Most days will be spent onsite at Cleveland-area hospitals (Cleveland Clinic main campus, Hillcrest, and other local hospitals).
